Setting the Tone: Living Your Intentions in 2020

One of the biggest lessons of this past decade for me has been not just “knowing” but truly living the principle that “Inner Balance = Outer Harmony”. 🧘🏾‍♀️

That has meant dealing with my negative emotions, confronting my insecurities and limiting beliefs no matter how painful and making time for myself to journal, meditate, work out, meal prep, sleep and rest even when I believe I’m too busy.🤪 Today, on the first day of 2020, that journey continues. I started the day with an hour of meditation. Then, I finished off a process I shared on my blog (bit.ly/2ZEwEvE) yesterday about completing your past and then I spent 15 minutes journaling to identify and clear up feelings of lack and despair about not being enough that came up as I was scrolling through Facebook this morning and seeing posts from all of my more “successful” friends. 💆🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️ I landed at a place of feeling gratitude for everything I am experiencing and having a fierce willingness to engage with myself in the way I do. Because of it, I am free to create and be the person I really am, unrestrained from thoughts of my past and fear of my future. I’m right here, standing in the present moment, full of peace and contentment. Its a great place to be and everyday you have to commit to making time to go beyond the “you” you call yourself to get there. #settheintention
